Successful applicants for the 2023 Ghana School on Internet Governance (GhanaSIG) fellowship announced

Today, 31st March 2023, the E-Governance and Internet Governance Foundation for Africa (EGIGFA), the organizer of the Ghana School on Internet Governance (GhanaSIG) announced the 41 applicants selected to participate in the 4th annual edition of the GhanaSIG fellowship programme.  

For this year’s fellowship, 281 applications were received from 21 countries. 

The selected Fellows represent participants from various stakeholder groups, as shown in the list.

The aim of GhanaSIG is to create an avenue for people from diverse sectors and backgrounds to acquire the requisite skills in Internet Governance  to enable them to participate meaningfully to discourse at the community, national, regional and the international levels.

The hybrid fellowship programme is made up of one month online learning sessions and followed by a one week face-to-face training scheduled for 27th to 30th June  2023. 

GhanaSIG is a recognized registered member of the Dynamic Coalition on Internet Governance Schools, a worldwide body of Internet Governance Schools sharing best practices on Internet Governance.  

GhanaSIG is an Internet Governance fellowship training event but not an academic programme.
