2026 FELLOWSHIP

Congratulations to the 2026 GhanaSIG Fellows!

The E-Governance and Internet Governance Foundation for Africa (EGIGFA) is delighted to announce the official final list of successful Fellows for the 7th annual edition of the Ghana School on Internet Governance (GhanaSIG) fellowship programme. GhanaSIG is a prestigious programme that empowers participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical expertise in Internet Governance, fostering digital policy leadership across Africa and globally.

To ensure robust learning and skill development, the fellowship is delivered through a structured two-stage model:

  • Stage 1 – Online Learning: Participants engaged in an intensive one-month learning period involving interactive modules, writing learning reflections, weekly presentations, and assessments. This stage lays the foundation for advanced learning and skill development in Internet Governance.
  • Stage 2 – Face-to-Face Sessions: Only participants who completed Stage 1 qualified and were invited to attend the one-week face-to-face sessions. This final stage featured expert-led discussions, interactive workshops, and high-level networking opportunities.

Out of the eighty (80) participants initially selected and announced, fifty-four (54) participants successfully navigated the demanding curriculum of both Stage 1 and Stage 2, officially earning the esteemed title of 2026 GhanaSIG Fellows.

The final cohort reflects both deep local capacity and broad global diversity:

  • Fellows living in Ghana: 37
  • International Fellows: 17
