Today, 31st March 2023, the E-Governance and Internet Governance Foundation for Africa (EGIGFA), the organizer of the Ghana School on Internet Governance (GhanaSIG) announced the 41 applicants selected to participate in the 4th annual edition of the GhanaSIG fellowship programme.
For this year’s fellowship, 281 applications were received from 21 countries.
The selected Fellows represent participants from various stakeholder groups, as shown in the list.
The aim of GhanaSIG is to create an avenue for people from diverse sectors and backgrounds to acquire the requisite skills in Internet Governance to enable them to participate meaningfully to discourse at the community, national, regional and the international levels.
The hybrid fellowship is made up of one month online learning sessions and followed by a one week face-to-face training. The face-to-face programme which was scheduled to take place in Accra from 27th 30th June to 1st July 2023.
